Chelsea could offer Mount in a part-exchange deal for Federico Chiesa. Italy international is a sought-after target for many teams and would signal a statement of intent from the London giants if they manage to bring him, but there are doubts over the proposed deal.
Chiesa’s absence has cost Juventus plenty in the last year. Federico has stayed absent from the scene since suffering a long-term injury. The Old Lady also slipped down the order in Serie A without his presence in that period but have recovered well lately.
The 25-year-old winger is a sensational talent and has a contract with Juventus until 2025. Juve are uninterested in approaches or enquiries from rival sides, having made their stance regarding the Italian forward clear long ago. They consider the Italian untouchable, and despite that, the Blues are reportedly plotting a move.
While Juventus value Federico at more than €100m in the current market, the Blues are plotting a part-exchange offer for the attacker. The London giants are set to include Mount as part of a deal, although any such move could be highly unlikely given the many factors that could block it.
The Blues are prioritizing an extension as a first choice, although they will be in a precarious position next summer. Hence, Chelsea are reportedly considering offering Mount in part exchange for Chiesa. The main factor is Juventus’s willingness to sell, while the second would focus on Mason Mount’s preference to leave England.
