Crystal Palace have completed deals for Sam Johnstone, Cheick Doucoure and Chris Richards so far this summer and here are the latest transfer rumours involving the Eagles

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, a midfielder for Chelsea, is reportedly wanted by Crystal Palace to return on loan.

The England international scored two goals and provided four assists in 24 Premier League games while on loan with the Eagles during the 2017–18 campaign. In November 2017, he was given his first England cap as a result of his work with Palace. He took part in the full encounter as Gareth Southgate's team drew 0-0 with Germany.

Since then, Loftus-Cheek has gone on to win 10 caps for England, but due to injury issues, he has found it difficult to maintain a role in Chelsea's first team. The 26-year-old spent a second season on loan with Fulham in the Premier League.
However, Loftus-Cheek is still having trouble earning a role in the first team at Stamford Bridge, and according to The Sun, Palace may decide to target the Chelsea midfielder as a possible replacement for Wolverhampton Wanderers' Morgan Gibbs-White. According to their source, Wolves are reluctant to trade the offensive midfielder since Raul Jimenez's injury frees up a spot in their starting lineup, but Palace is willing to spend £20 million for him.

GiveMeSport has also revealed that Wilfried Zaha has been linked to a transfer to Chelsea. According to FootMercato, the Blues are reportedly interested in signing the Palace winger this summer as Zaha approaches the end of his deal with the club.

The Palace star player has also been connected with Jose Mourinho's Roma, while Chelsea has been linked with a number of players despite their capture of Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling, with GiveMeSport suggesting Thomas Tuchel wants to add extra squad depth and Zaha could be an option.
