Dean Saunders accused Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech of going missing during the second-half of Morocco’s win against Canada yesterday at the World Cup.
Ziyech, who’s having a decent World Cup tournament, helped his country qualify for the World Cup knockouts yesterday as Group F winners.
Morocco edged out Canada with a 2-1 victory on Thursday and will face Spain in the last-16 of the competition.
Chelsea winger Ziyech, 29, scored an early opening goal against Canada with a clever chipped finish over the goalkeeper’s head from outside the box. Also, he had an assist chalked off by VAR in the second period for an offside.
The £33million Blues star received a lot of praise for his latest World Cup display. For example, Martin Keown said he’s as important to the Morocco side as Neymar is to Brazil
