AC Milan keen on to agree deal for 28-year-old Chelsea forward

Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku allegedly has no intention of sealing a summer move to Newcastle United or AC Milan amid his Blues woes.

The 28-year-old’s deal with the London-based giants still has another 4 years left to run, and the side can’t conduct transfer business while heavy sanctions on current the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich remain in place.

But, with optimism regarding a takeover happening before the window opens, they could attempt to recoup a transfer sum for the out-of-favour attacker in the summer.

I Rossoneri have been tipped to bring him back to Serie A while the Magpies’ recent Saudi-backed takeover and following boost in funds has seen the English outfit linked with a move for Romelu.

However, the Evening Standard now states that the Belgian has no interest in a transfer to either team in the summer and will reject any approaches made to him by the aforementioned duo.

The report also says that the Stamford Bridge club are aware that very few teams will be able to shell out Lukaku’s mammoth salary and asking price.

Furthermore, it is said that takeover frontrunner Todd Boehly views current manager Tuchel as a key part of his setup in west London, and the German tactician has been loath to select Romelu over Kai Havertz in recent weeks.
