Raheem Sterling's latest admission over possibly leaving Manchester City could have big implications on Chelsea's transfer plans in the near future.
The 26-year-old attacker admitted that he is open to moving away from Man City, with a move abroad seemingly his preferred route out of the Etihad Stadium.
Sterling said: "If there was the opportunity to go somewhere else, I would be open to it.
"At this moment in time, football is the most important thing to me. I have always had something that maybe one day I would love to play abroad and see how I meet that challenge."
The England international is being linked with a move to Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta said to be a huge fan of the speedy winger.
If Sterling does leave City, then this could have a big bearing on Chelsea, with regards to the players the Premier League champions could target to replace Sterling if their attacker departs.
