Thomas Tuchel agrees with Jurgen Klopp over Liverpool and Chelsea problem that is set to return

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel have both vented their frustrations at the situation regarding the international break, with Thiago Silva to miss the Blues' trip to face Brentford.

Thomas Tuchel has joined Jurgen Klopp in criticising the situation arising around the Premier League's Brazilian stars effectively leaving them unavailable for this weekend's fixtures.

The likes of Thiago Silva, Fabinho and Alisson Becker were in Brazil's squad to face Uruguay in the early hours of Friday morning, leaving an incredibly tight turnaround for the players to return in time for Saturday's lunchtime and evening games.

Chelsea's defender will not return until Saturday afternoon.

Those international stars were not released by their clubs for September's international break over concerns that the players would have to undergo a lengthy quarantine following their return.

While most of those rules have relaxed, it is still far from ideal preparation. South American clubs have squeezed in three matches in the last week.

The German coach said: "Thiago will be back in the afternoon tomorrow, hopefully safe from this match in Brazil. We had our talk and tactical training, he missed all that. He played 90 minutes and had 12 hours of travelling so that gives you the answer.
