Tests confirm Eduardo Camavinga’s availability for Manchester City showdown

Having recovered his full squad at a crucial time of the season, Carlo Ancelotti was given a fresh injury concern on Saturday evening, during Real Madrid’s victory over Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu.

After Juan Iglesias made a harsh challenge, Eduardo Camavinga injured his knee, necessitating his replacement. Ancelotti allayes concerns about the Frenchman's fitness, and recent medical tests have confirmed that.

Arancha Rodriguez claims that after examinations were done on Sunday morning by Real Madrid, it was discovered that Camavinga had only slightly sprained his left knee. He will therefore be eligible for the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Manchester City on Wednesday.

Ancelotti will be happy to have Camavinga at his disposal for the journey to Manchester because he has been one of Real Madrid's top players over the past few months.

With this news, Camavinga will likely start at left back for the match at the Etihad Stadium, which Real Madrid must win if they are to reach back-to-back Champions League finals.
