Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have all reportedly been scouting the United States international and, while he doesn’t name the clubs interested in the player, Ornstein says the midfielder is on the market:
Musah is a dynamic central midfield player who can cover the ground and press the ball. With N’Golo Kante seemingly set to depart Stamford Bridge, the American could well be among the names being considered as his replacement.
The 20-year-old is, though, still rather inexperienced, having only made his senior debut back in 2020. He would very much be one for the future. A project player that manager Graham Potter could help develop over time.
With Jorginho also expected to leave Chelsea, there will be a significant overhaul of the club’s midfield over the coming months, so a number of new additions could be brought in to strengthen that area of the pitch.
