Due to personal obligations, Raheem Sterling will miss England's World Cup match against Senegal in the round of 16.
The Football Association has revealed that the Chelsea attacker will not be playing on Sunday because he is attending to a family problem.
If England advances in the competition, Sterling's ability to participate in any additional matches is reportedly in serious doubt.
Under Gareth Southgate, the 27-year-old has played a major role and has 20 goals in 81 England appearances.

He was included in the starting lineup for the Three Lions' 6-2 triumph over Iran in the group stage opener.
He also commenced the 0-0 tie with the USA, but Jack Grealish took his place after 68 minutes of play.
Then Sterling departed out of the 3-0 victory over Wales and failed to make it off the bench in their Group B finale.
The England Twitter account posted: “Raheem Sterling is not available for selection for the #ThreeLions tonight as he is dealing with a family matter.”
