Trevoh Chalobah, a defender for Chelsea, has reportedly rejoined the club for practice after missing the friendly match against Aston Villa on Sunday, according to Football.London (December 11).
Chalobah had to be removed from the team that was supposed to face Villa on a night that was already upset by the Blues seeing forward Armando Broja stretchered off. While Broja will be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a catastrophic injury, Chalobah is back in action.
Along with the Englishman, several World Cup stars who lost in the round of 16 have taken some time off and are now back at team practice. They include Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy, and Christian Pulisic, all of Senegal (USA)
In a further boost to injury news, Chelsea boss Graham Potter has overseen the likes of Carney Chukwuemeka, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Kai Havertz and Kepa Arrizabalaga featuring in their bid to step up in the efforts to return to full fitness.
Ben Chilwell and Ruben Loftus-Cheek were not pictured in training, hence they are still a bit away from returning to full team training.
With the Bournemouth game still more than 10 days away, it is a good little time for Potter and his coaching staff to have an extended period of time on the training pitch with the squad.
