As they look for Reece James' backup or rivals, Chelsea is apparently keeping an eye on another right defender.
Chelsea has been attempting to add players to that area of the field during the last few transfer windows. It appeared in the summer that right back Cesar Azpilicueta would replace him after his departure.
But in the end, it didn't happen. But Azpilicueta's misgivings persist, and the necessity for extra talent on the right side to protect James is once again a hot topic.
According to a report from Marca, Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan is the major individual connected to Chelsea in that area. They do, however, add that throughout the summer,Chelsea tried for Atletico Madrid right back Nahuel Molina, and the Argentinian World Cup star is still on their radar now, per the same report.
