According to the Spanish radio station, Atletico Madrid may agree to a "assignment with an obligatory buy clause" because they understand that other teams may have to spread out payments as a result of Financial Fairplay.
When the transfer market opens in a month, it is thought that Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain have a three to one chance of acquiring Felix.
An initial loan would be appealing given the forward's rumoured asking price of €100 million (£86 million), especially for the Blues after their over £270 million summer spending spree.
It is reported that Felix's agent, Jorge Mendes, has already informed Atletico that the player wants to leave the Wanda Metropolitano and that the La Liga team is apparently willing to allow him to leave.
We'll just need to wait and see.though, whether Chelsea will go ahead and make a formal approach for the Portuguese international in the coming weeks.
