Chelsea are reported to have revived their interest in Crystal Palace forward Wilfred Zaha, but remain in talks over a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Blues are reportedly mulling a move for the Ivorian, who has previously been associated with the team, according to Ed Aarons of The Guardian.

Aarons asserts that a number of forwards have allegedly been named by those in command at Stamford Bridge in recent days as they attempt to bolster their attack before the deadline of September 1.

He asserts that a few other unnamed forwards have also been mentioned, but the club has not yet made a formal offer or approach for Zaha.

Thomas Tuchel is eager for a reunion with an athlete that he managed during his time in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, and Chelsea and Barcelona have been in negotiations about a deal for Aubameyang for a number of weeks.

The  33-year-old’s future at the Nou Camp was thrown into doubt by the arrival of Robert Lewandowski earlier this summer, with the duo unlikely to play alongside each other.
