Blues boss Tuchel has had mixed injury news for Chelsea's Premier League game with Southampton on Saturday.
Thomas Tuchel was bemused to discover that Reece James had been selected for England but confirmed Mason Mount would be in the Chelsea squad to face Southampton this weekend.
James remains out having suffered an ankle injury in the first half against Manchester City last weekend, while Mount has been missing since the Carabao Cup victory over Aston Villa.
Neither travelled to Turin for Chelsea's Champions League defeat to Juventus and James is yet to return to team training, with much of his work taking place in the pool.
Tuchel said in his press conference: "When I saw it, I thought maybe Reece goes with the water polo team for England as right now he trains in the pool.
