Manchester City and Chelsea could both be in contention to sign Juventus defender, Matthijs De Ligt, with reports from Italy claiming Mino Raiola is already offering him around.
Calciomercato claim that Raiola has already initiated contact with both City and Chelsea over De Ligt, with some of Europe’s other top sides also contacted by the super-agent.
De Ligt signed for Juventus in a mega-money £67.5m deal back in the summer of 2019. Since then, he’s gone on to become a regular in Turin and is regarded as one of the best young defenders in world football.
The 22-year-old has started six Serie A games this season and both Champions League fixtures with Juve. However, Calciomercato claim that De Ligt and Raiola are not entirely happy with how his career has panned out in Turin.
They claim that due to that, Raiola has started shopping his client. City, Chelsea, and Barcelona have reportedly all been contacted. However, Juventus will not sell on the cheap. That, of course, means the Italian side will likely want most of that £67m or so back
