Former Chelsea defender, Franck Leboeuf, has it back and slammed Antonio Conte after the former Blues manager criticised Thomas Tuchel for his use of Romelu Lukaku.
Conte claimed that the German boss hadn't yet worked out how to optimise the Belgian talisman to the best of his abilities, following Chelsea's 1-0 loss to Juventus in the Champions League.
Leboeuf, responding to the former Blues boss' claims, said Conte was wrong to comment on Tuchel's coaching styles, reaffirming that the German has done a good job.
He said: "He was wrong to do it. He said that he did his job well with Lukaku while Tuchel didn't. Being a former Chelsea identity, he shouldn't have said it. It's true Lukaku did very well with him at Inter, but such a statement should have been avoided."
Tuchel has announced that Thiago Silva will miss the first game back after the international break against Brentford and spoke on the club's helplessness over the said period.
The Blues boss said the Brazilian centre-half will return on the day of the Brentford clash and while it is not ideal there is nothing either party can do otherwise FIFA threatens Silva with a suspension
