Antonio Conte Chelsea legacy should be a clear warning to Manchester United fans wanting change

As pressure rises on Ole Gunnar Solskjær at Manchester United, the links to former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte feel obvious but should give United fans pause for thought over the consequences of the Italian's presence.

I'm not even a Manchester United fan and find myself already bored with the debate surrounding Ole Gunnar Solskjær's future. Is he good enough? Is he not?

Reoccurring issues as United's fans descend on social media to tweet #OleOut which trends and similar pundits spring up to reach similar conclusions as Roy Keane grunts and repeats: "This is Manchester United".

What is Manchester United now anyway? It seems now just to be an exercise in self-indulgence to collect as many attacking stars as possible for the brand with little care about creating a cohesive team that could seriously challenge for the league or topple Europe's best.

Manchester United have been pretty shambolic so far this season, somehow going through all different moods in 90 minute periods like they are aimlessly browsing through the Netflix home page looking for something to watch. Sadly this series is pretty predictable and shows little sign of adding any new twists.

Some United fans want Ole Gunnar Solskjær gone, whilst others come to the realisation he might not be the coach they dreamed he could be. I'm not here to tell United fans how they should think and feel about their own club, that would be arrogant. Neither can I tell them how they should feel about the current head coach as the debate surrounding his future looms on
