He was an integral part of the side that won the Champions League last season, but Chelsea are now reportedly open to selling N'Golo Kante next summer.
The Frenchman was excellent in clashes with Real Madrid as well as in the final against Manchester City, and also changed the game with Tottenham from the bench last weekend.
Fichajes have reported this latest update and reference the excitement around Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher as a reason for considering a sale. Kante's current deal will expire in 2023 so cashing in next summer could be the best option.
Both Gallagher and Gilmour have impressed during their respective loan spells and both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are thought to be interested in Kante.
Reece James injury blow
Saturday was really a day to forget for Chelsea.
Not only were the Blues beaten for the first time this season but right-back Reece James was forced off after less than 30 minutes with an ankle injury following a collision with Jack Grealish.
