Mauricio Pochettino wants Paulo Dybala in the summer as he looks to add some experience to his otherwise young group of attackers.

Paulo Dybala becomes a target for Chelsea, claims Fichajes. The club might be persuaded to sign Mauricio Pochettino's compatriot by the incoming manager. The World Cup champion, 29, has a reasonable release clause in the summer that might encourage the Blues to act.

Last year, Paulo Dybala had a challenging summer when Juventus decided not to honor the contract they had first extended to the forward. The 29-year-old World Cup winner was among the free agents after the Turin giants' departure, but Roma swooped in and signed him.

Dybala has proved crucial for Jose Mourinho and has played as a regular in the team. Roma could still succeed in the Europa League, where the Argentine has been crucial. The Argentine will also hope to help Roma with a top-four finish.

His future at Roma remains uncertain beyond the current campaign. He also has a modest release clause in his contract. Clubs outside of Italy can sign Dybala for €12 million, while those in Serie A will have to pay €20 million for the 29-year-old World Cup winner.
That asking price appears low compared to the clubs Dybala reportedly received a recent offer from. Among those groups is Chelsea, who will soon name Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager. The 29-year-old World Cup champion is one of few experienced players the Argentine manager is still interested in adding to his squad.
Pochettino also desires Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez to be the line leader. Chelsea might become a dangerous offensive group if Dybala were to be added. Without a capable goal scorer, the club has had a difficult season. Their best goal scorers, Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz, each have nine goals across all competitions.
It would make sense to include Dybala, and Pochettino may ask the team to import the 29-year-old World Cup winner. Martinez and the Roma actor are not the only ones  on the incoming manager’s mind, with Aston Villa custodian Emi Martinez also a key target.

As for Dybala, he might consider making a move to the Premier League after turning down offers in the past. Chelsea will not play in the Champions League next season, but that may not stand in their way of signing the 29-year-old World Cup winner in the summer.
