Wesley Fofana, a star for Chelsea, viciously killed a steward during his team's critical 1-0 victory over Leeds.
In the closing minutes of the game, the Leeds star Wilfried Gnonto and the Blues defender fought for possession of the ball. But, during the duel, Fofana was knocked sprawling to the ground and slammed into the steward, who then collided with one of her peers.
While the game raged on, Fofana's plea for a foul went unanswered, and fans flocked to Twitter to mock his collision. "Fofana not even acknowledging that steward he stumbled on rubbed me the wrong way ngl," one user commented.
"Nice tackle by Wes Fofana on the steward there haha," said a second individual in response. And a third supporter joked, "The steward dove. Fofana barely touched her."
Then another supporter mused: "That was so funny. Wesley properly took her out." The steward didn't stay grounded for long and some users praised her for her quick reflexes whilst condemning divers in the Prem.
