In the last few weeks, speculation about the 24-year-old’s future has risen after reports that contract talks between Mount and Chelsea are stalling.
The midfielder came through the club’s academy, after spending time out on loan at Dutch side Vitesse and then Championship side Derby County, he was brought into the first time by former Blues boss Frank Lampard in 2019.
However, Mount has seen his minutes limited in recent weeks, which has led to his future being up in the air.

According to Spanish news outlet Marca, Mount is the subject of a spectacular swap deal involving Atletico Madrid.
The report claims that Chelsea are looking to include Mount in their offer for Joao Felix, who is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge from the La Liga side.
Chelsea are hoping the inclusion of one of their star players will lower the price for the Portuguese forward.
However, Atletico’s CEO, Miguel Angel Gil Marin has reportedly made it clear to Chelsea that they are looking for a straight cash offer without any players included in the deal.
Atletico are said to be wanting to recuperate as much of the £113 million they spent on Felix as possible.
Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta spoke about Felix prior to the Champions League round of 16 clash against Borussia Dortmund.
He said: “I knew him from Atletico Madrid when we played against them and from watching their games in La Liga.
“I was quite surprised when he arrived because we know the quality he has. He’s amazing in training and in the last game against West Ham, he showed the way he can turn, create spaces, play passes.
“In training, he has been unbelievable, honestly very good. He scored the other day too and that will help with his confidence.”
Azpilicueta added: “He is a young boy with great experience and great confidence, who is making already a big impact in the team.
“I am looking forward to seeing him in the team and performing at this level.”
