Jose Mourinho, the former manager of Chelsea, is expected to miraculously return to the team.
Mourinho, 60, now serves as the manager of AS Roma in Italy. He previously held the position twice, from 2004 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2015. Although finishing third in Serie A, Mourinho did successfully guide the Giallorossi to victory in the UEFA Conference League the previous campaign.
The news comes after Chelsea put on yet another lackluster display against Southampton yesterday, adding to pressure on current Blues manager Graham Potter to leave the team. The team suffered a 1-0 defeat thanks to a goal from James Ward Prowse.
