'He's coming!' - Chelsea fans sent into transfer frenzy after tracking Enzo Fernandez flight

According to a Chelsea supporter, the team used the same private plane to fly to Portugal to finalize the transfer of Enzo Fernandez as it did to sign Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, and Malo Gusto.

Graham Potter is looking to strengthen his midfield on deadline day, and the Benfica star has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. Football.london is aware that the Blues' top objective continues to be to sign Fernandez, and Todd Boehly is rumored to have had in-depth discussions with the massive Portuguese forward.

The release clause in the 22-year-contract, old's worth £105 million, is thought to have been exceeded by a proposal from Chelsea. However, it should come as no surprise that residents of west London have suggested that the charge be paid in installments rather than in full.

The Argentina international is eager to join and it's understood he's informed Benfica of his intent to leave. football.london understands there is confidence that an agreement will be reached despite only a few hours left of the window.

And, it looks like every minute will count up until the deadline at 11pm. While it remains to be seen that an agreement has been reached, a Blues supporter has noticed a pattern occurring which could prove to be a lucky charm.

On Twitter, @C345Sam pointed out that a plane departed from Farnborough Airport for Lisbon on Monday evening. The private airport is just over a 20 mile drive from Cobham training ground.

Then in the replies, @stillthebobb noticed that the same plane flew to Madrid the day before Chelsea announced the signing on Joao Felix on loan. It also flew to Amsterdam the day before Noni Madueke was announced and back from Geneva, somewhat near Lyon, two days before Malo Gusto was unveiled.

Twitter user @RoryBenji then got even more excited, saying: "Those saying the numbers are different euw is the name of the jet the numbers are different flight numbers. The jet was also the same jet that Malo Gusto posted on his insta. A private jet has been sent to pick Enzo Fernandez he’s coming to Chelsea!"

It remains to be confirmed whether the plane in question is in any way linked to Chelsea's previous business in the January transfer window. But, as Blues fans await an ultimatum, the fanbase continues to theorise hints that Fernandez will indeed join the west Londoners this month.
