Midfielder announces “I’m really delighted to sign for Chelsea”



The Wales captain, who has made 15 appearances for the Blues across domestic and European competition, scoring two goals which both came in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. 
 He has become a very important member of that ladies squad that are looking to win the Champions League for the first time this season – and this news will give the club a massive boost. She has signed a two-year contract at the Women’s Super League leaders – and has announced just how delighted she is to see a deal get done and dusted.

 The midfielder told the club’s official website: “I’m really delighted to sign for Chelsea again. “I feel like this club is home away from home. I’ve settled in from the very first moment that I signed about five years ago. “I’m really delighted to continue this journey with this amazing club.” 

 General manager Paul Green commented on Ingle’s signing: ‘We are delighted that Sophie has extended her contract. “She has great experience and is a leader within the group. She has been a key player in our success over the last few years, and we look forward to that continuing.’
