Chelsea are plotting a swap deal involving Christian Pulisic to prise Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman. Graham Potter is reportedly keen on France international, as the London giants are somewhat lacking in wide attacking areas this campaign.
The Blues is moving in the transfer window as new owner Todd Boehly is keen to build a super team in the next few windows. Pulisic is keen to bolster the squad and bring in some of the best footballers around the continent. The latest story suggests the Blues could offer Pulisic in a swap deal for Coman.
There were rumours of Bayern Munich holding an interest in Pulisic, but there could be doubts about whether they would let Kingsley leave the club. The 26-year-old forward is considered a key part of Julian Nagelsmann’s plans at the club and stays an important footballer in the system.
Bundesliga giants rewarded him with a new deal in January that keeps him on board until 2027. Yet, they may not allow him to leave on a dry swap deal and certainly look for a huge sum of money. The French winger would look at a chance such as the Blues and may even ponder a decision on his future.
While he has achieved everything with the Bundesliga giants at the club level, a new challenge may appeal to the Frenchman, especially with the Blues. Pulisic is unwanted at Chelsea, but Kingsley Coman’s status is slightly different.
