Chelsea have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Youssoufa Moukoko. The 18-year-old centre-forward is regarded as one of the most promising young strikers in European football, and he has a massive future ahead of him.
Moukoko has been linked with several PL teams in recent months, and it will be interesting to see if the Blues can secure his signature soon. Youssoufa will be out of the deal at the end of the campaign, and he will be able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign teams when the transfer window opens next month.
It stays to be seen whether the Blues decide to sign him on a free transfer in the summer or pay a reasonable fee in January and bring the move forward. The London giants are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements right now, especially after the injury blow to Broja.
Chelsea were already struggling to find the net consistently with the likes of Aubameyang, Sterling, Havertz, Pulisic and Ziyech in mediocre form this campaign.
Signing someone like the German midway through the campaign could galvanise their attack and help them finish the second half of the season strongly. Moukoko has been in impressive form for the German club season, scoring six goals and picking up six assists across all tournaments. He was part of Germany’s World Cup squad as well.
