Jorginho of Chelsea resumed working out on Friday and might be back in the lineup for Chelsea's Premier League match against Newcastle United on Saturday.
The penultimate match before the World Cup break will take place at St. James' Park when the Blues go there tomorrow evening to take on an in-form Newcastle team.
Graham Potter's team is in desperate need of a win after suffering three losses in their previous four games overall. Chelsea has 21 points after 13 games and is currently ranked seventh in the league.
Newcastle, who are now in third place and are in the Champions League spots, on the other hand, are having a wonderful season under manager Eddie Howe. They've played 14 league games so far and have racked up 27 points.

Jorginho came back to training
Chelsea have been dealt a small piece of positive injury news before the Newcastle clash.
Blues head coach Graham Potter, who was speaking in his pre-match press conference, delivered a fitness update on Jorginho.
“Jorginho trained today, so providing there’s no reaction, he should be in the squad,” Potter confirmed.
Jorginho, 30, played last weekend in the league defeat to Arsenal but was absent from the midweek Carabao Cup loss against Manchester City with a foot problem.
The £110,000-a-week midfielder could return to the match day squad this Saturday against Newcastle, though.
With an extended break coming up for players like Jorginho, who are not going to the World Cup, there’s little point in risking him in tomorrow’s game if there are concerns.
There is every chance the Italian deep-lying playmaker could play a really important role for Chelsea in the games that fall immediately after the World Cup.
There’s uncertainty around his future at Stamford Bridge given he’s out of contract next summer, but he’s currently still a really important member of Potter’s squad
