Joao, a player wanted by Chelsea, may think about moving to Stamford Bridge, according to transfer writer Dean Jones.
Felix, who came up through the ranks at Benfica as a teenager, earned a transfer to Atletico Madrid in 2019 after scoring 20 goals in 43 games in his first season with the Portuguese powerhouses, stats that caught the attention of all the major football leagues around the world.
Felix's qualities have also helped him break into the Portugal team, where he has scored three goals in 22 appearances, despite the fact that he has not generated those kinds of stats when playing for Atletico. He has been a significant part of the Spanish team.
There have been numerous media rumors that teams like Manchester City and Liverpool are all set to explore that transfer kitty and try to secure a transfer deal for the talented attacker
Recent claims AS reported that the gifted young player has a desire to leave the club when the January window opens up.
Now – amid all the speculation – Jones has claimed that Felix could consider a move to Chelsea
Speaking to GMS, Jones said: “I’m not too sure there is much in the links with Felix at the moment, but it’s going to be an interesting one because when he returns from the World Cup, he will be looking to cement his club situation and figure out what the future holds for him.
“And if Atletico can’t get a tune out of him or make him any promises, I think he will want them to think about selling him.
“I think he’ll have to consider a move.”
