Chelsea leading race for €75m-rated Brazilian wing wizard

Because of his fitness concerns, Chelsea ultimately decided against signing Neymar in the summer. The PSG winger is once more on the London giants' radar due to his recent form. Brazilian international was then open to a summer transfer to Chelsea.

Todd Boehly, the new owner, has been persuaded by Neymar's current form that he would be a wise investment. So, at the conclusion of the season, the Blues might try to sign the 30-year-old attacker. In 16 appearances, the Brazilian winger has scored 12 goals and provided nine assists.

The Parisians view the South American attacker as a disposable resource, and they are willing to let him go at the conclusion of the campaign. Brazilians are  on wages of nearly €40m per season, and the Ligue 1 giants were open to contributing to most of his wages just to get him off their books.

It will be interesting to see if the Blues come forward with a concrete offer for the former Barcelona attacker in the coming months and secure his services. The London giants could certainly use more quality in the attacking unit, and Neymar is a world-class footballer.

Despite the fact that he is 30 years old, Neymar could still play at a high level for the next few years and help Chelsea win major trophies. Neymar has proven himself in France and Spain. And a move to the PL could be an attractive proposition for the Brazilian attacker.
