Romeo Lavia of Southampton may be very difficult to get for Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Southampton acquired the intriguing 18-year-old Lavia from Manchester City in the summer.

Despite a hamstring injury interfering with his season, the adolescent midfielder swiftly fought his way into the Saints XI at St. Mary's during his first taste of Premier League football.

Chelsea has reportedly identified Southampton's 18-year-old star as a potential target, according to the Evening Standard in October.
