Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has provided a fitness update and delivered his verdict on Thomas Tuchel's dismissal.

On Deadline Day, the 33-year-old made his way to the team from Barcelona, citing Tuchel as one of the primary reasons.

Aubameyang remarked, "It will be an honor and a delight again (to play under Tuchel) because we had some great experiences in Dortmund together and I am really happy to play for him again," when he first arrived earlier in September.

Come on you blues, I know we can do great things, and I'll do my best to support the squad.
Despite this, Todd Boehly informed Aubameyang that he was made as a club signing and will play a vital part under new manager Graham Potter, giving the Gabon international assurance of his position at the club following Tuchel's resignation.

In his first game at Stamford Bridge, a 1-1 draw with FC Salzburg, Potter started him right away.

Aubameyang had a chance to score but for an outstanding defensive block, Chelsea looked seamless in attack. Raheem Sterling's first-half goal was insufficient to secure three points.

Aubameyang, who praised Potter during his first few days on the job, has acknowledged that he is looking forward to working with the 47-year-old.
