Despite interest from French club Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea is thought to be leading the race to sign Barcelona player Ousmane Dembele, who is 25 years old.
Dembele is close to joining Chelsea on a free transfer this summer, according to a source from TMW (as reported by 10 Sport).
Dembele has opted to move to Stamford Bridge, according to the source, because he wants to rejoin with his old coach Thomas Tuchel.
Dembele is thought to prefer a move to the English Premier League over a move to France.
During their time together at Dortmund, the 2018 World Cup winner trained under Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.
Despite the huge fee the Catalans paid to recruit Dembele, he has struggled to make an impression at Camp Nou.
