'My boy is coming back': Some Chelsea fans think their loanee will return after news at Manchester United

A handful of Chelsea supporters on social media believed Ralf Rangnick’s appointment as Manchester United interim coach could impact Tino Anjorin.

It was confirmed by The Athletic yesterday that United had reached an agreement to make Rangnick their part-time boss until they found a permanent solution.

The 63-year-old will depart his post as head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow.

Interestingly, this is the club Anjorin currently represents, having joined the Russian side on loan over the summer.

Even more intriguingly, the man who persuaded the Chelsea youngster to leave his Stamford Bridge quarters is now on the road himself.

Anjorin was clearly charmed by the German’s words and left South West London for Lokomotiv in September.

Just to further his point, Rangnick organised the awarding of the infamous number 10 jersey to Anjorin.

This number had previously been retired in homage to Lokomotiv legend Dmitri Loskov.

However, with the supplier of all these presents on the way to Manchester, Chelsea fans felt their academy talent had no reason to remain in Russia.
