Chelsea supporters on social media bowed down to the admin of Bayer Leverkusen’s Twitter account following their recent post regarding Kai Havertz.
Leverkusen’s hidden tweeter has built up quite a reputation for sending witty replies and red hot shutdowns.
Their latest internet interaction involved a player known well to both the Blues and the Bundesliga club.
The contact started with one user claiming Bayern Munich bought all the best stars, making the division heavily one-sided.
Leverkusen highlighted the fact they hadn’t sold anyone to Bayern for nearly two decades.
Another keyboard warrior suggested Die Werkself had not produced a top talent since their last trade with Bayern.
Quick as you like, Leverkusen gently reminded the assailant that the last top talent they constructed literally scored the Champions League-winning goal earlier this year.
They were, of course, referring to Havertz, who cemented his place in Chelsea’s history by converting against Manchester City.
