TUCHEL EXPLAINS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHELSEA & PSG, CLAIMS LUKAKU IS EASIER TO MANAGE THAN NEYMAR

Tuchel would of course take over as Chelsea boss at the back end of January. Despite not having even half a seaosn at the club, the German was able to secure Chelsea a top-four finish in the Premier League in 2020/21.

The former PSG boss would also guide Chelsea to only their second-ever Champions League trophy, beating Manchester City in the final back in May.

The Londoners have continued their fine form into the current season and began the weekend sat top of the Premier League, a trophy Tuchel is no doubt keen to add to his collection in the near future.

Tuchel on PSG and Chelsea

Now, after being in the Chelsea job for around eight months, Tuchel has recently been discussing the difference between Chelsea and PSG.

Tuchel managed the French powerhouse between 2018 and 2020. During that time, PSG dominated Ligue 1 but were unable to capture their first-ever CL trophy, despite making it to the final in 2020.

When speaking about the difference between the two clubs, Tuchel stated that they are different in regards to both style and organisation, with the German suggesting that his role at PSG was much more complicated than it is at Chelsea:

“They are two completely different clubs with regards to style and organisation.

“At PSG, I felt I was the Minister for Sport. I had to also manage family members and friends of the stars. At Chelsea, I work much more calmly.”

Tuchel also stated that Lukaku is easier to manage that Neymar and Mbappe:

“It’s easier to coach Lukaku than Neymar or Mbappe.”
