legend John Terry is estimted to have a net worth five times bigger than Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle.
The former Blues defender, 40, enjoyed a 20-year career where he captained both his club and country, becoming one of the Premier League’s greatest ever centre-backs.
Terry followed up his glittering Chelsea career which included a Champions League winners’ medal and three league titles with a move to Aston Villa, where he remained as assistant manager until the end of last season.
And he has reaped the huge financial rewards of his success, having even surpassed royals Prince Harry and Meghan in terms of estimated wealth.
Terry was ranked in 2017 by Business Insider as one of the top ten richest footballers in the world with an estimated net worth of $50million (£39million).
At that time he was an Aston Villa player earning considerably less than his Chelsea salary but it is reported his net worth has now shot up to around $70million (£51million) following his stint as an assistant coach.
