The worst-kept secret of the past several weeks has been Mauricio Pochettino's transfer to Chelsea.
Every media has reported on him as if he had already been appointed manager of Chelsea, discussing his ambitions for the team and other matters as if he had already moved into the building.
We all know it's going to happen, and now a credible source from Argentina claims that Pochettino has officially been hired as Chelsea's new manager.
Cesar Pochettino has reportedly accepted Chelsea's final offer, and the attorneys are already exchanging paperwork, according to Luis Merlo of TyC Sports. After Frank Lampard's interim tenure is completed, he will sign a contract that runs through June 2026 and take over the next campaign.
All other outlets are also pretty much reporting the same as above now, and it just seems it is about when the announcement will be made officially.
