According to sources, Paris Saint-Germain has made a last-ditch effort to buy Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea before the transfer deadline on Tuesday.
Despite the Moroccan's on-field performances having improved in recent weeks, he has been frequently mentioned in connection with a transfer out of Stamford Bridge this month.
Everton and Newcastle United have recently expressed interest in him, but he now appears to be leaving England altogether.
As far as 90min is aware, PSG is hopeful that a loan agreement for Ziyech will be reached before the deadline of Tuesday at 11 p.m.
It also surfaced as a late candidate for Ziyech's signature, although it seems more probable that he will be moving to the French capital. Italian champions Milan had been linked with Ziyech for months.
Ziyech signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2020 from Ajax and helped them win the Champions League in his debut season.
There are plenty of Chelsea players who could leave before the end of the window, with the likes of Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek also in the shop window.
