Graham Potter needs to make sure that he signs a world class striker for Chelsea in the coming transfer window – according to reporter Iomie Stanley.
Owner Ted Boehly sanctioned some big transfer deals during the summer transfer window and spent some serious money improving key areas of the pitch.
But despite all the speculation and all the rumours – former boss Ted Boehly was unable to get the world class striker that he desired and the club ended up with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang is a man that was enjoying life in La Liga after moving from Arsenal – but when Robert Lewandowski arrived – he was forced into looking elsewhere and in the end – was forced to come back to the Premier League.
But he has struggled for game time – has struggled to perform and quite honestly – looks noting like the player that was scoring goals for fun over at the Camp Nou.
And going into the January window – reporter Iomie Stanley has told Potter to make sure that he signs a new striker in January.
