Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been contacted by Ligue 1 giants PSG, according to journalist Simon Phillips

Kante has been at Stamford Bridge for a number of seasons and has contributed to the Blues' success in the Premier League, the Champions League, and the club world cup.

He has been the front-line defender who has contributed to the team's defensive prowess, but during the past few seasons, he has struggled with injuries that have prevented him from playing as often as the team would have liked.

He is in his penultimate season at Stamford Bridge, and much speculation surrounds his long-term plans, including whether he will stay at the club or leave for clubs like PSG.

It is well known that PSG are massive fans of the man and would love to snap him up in the coming windows – but if you believe the words of Phillips – contact has already been made

What has he said?

The journalist adds that there has already been recent contact made with Kante’s representatives and that more could arrive if the situation is left unresolved.

Phillips told GIVEMESPORT: “That link’s always there, with PSG. I think they will be keen on getting involved in the situation and certainly monitoring it.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s already been contact because there has been recent contact with Kante’s agent.”
