Encouragement for Cristiano Ronaldo to reject Chelsea deal in favor of "sexy" move elsewhere

Manchester United could be forced into selling Cristiano Ronaldo after the star reportedly expressed his desire to leave, but he's been told to ignore Chelsea and move elsewhere.

Although the five-time Ballon d'Or winner had only recently returned to United in the summer, the Portuguese star is said to have requested to depart because they were unable to qualify for the Champions League. Chelsea has been put on high alert, and last month, agent Jorge Mendes made a Ronaldo offer to co-owner Todd Boehly.

Romelu Lukaku secured a loan switch back to Inter Milan, and Chelsea are reportedly considering a move. However, Ronaldo should join Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich instead, according to German icon Lothar Matthaus, who called the suggestion "sexy."
