Attila Szalai to Chelsea a 'done deal' as Eden Hazard transfer decision encouraged

Hungary boss Marco Rossi has made a big claim regarding his central defender's move to west London in the upcoming January transfer window.

There have been reports of Chelsea looking to conclude a deal fairly soon for the tall Hungarian defender but nothing had been confirmed up till this point.

But Rossi's fresh take on the situation may suggest that something more.

He said, as per Football italia “It’s hard to name just one player, but right now I see very well Attila Szalai, who plays for Fenerbache, but I think he is joining Chelsea.

“Clearly, he has been followed by important clubs in Spain, but apparently his move to Chelsea is a done deal. It would be a great player also for Italian football.”

Eden Hazard linked again

Chelsea continue to be linked with a return swoop for Eden Hazard as the Belgian's Real Madrid struggles go on.

Hazard, 30, has had a torrid time in the Spanish capital since sealing his 'dream' £100million move to Los Blancos from Chelsea, but a mixture of different injuries, coupled with struggling to adapt to the style of football, has led to claims he could look to leave.

Despite reportedly strong competition from Everton, Newcastle and West Ham, recent comments from Frank Lampard on Hazard could play a role in the thinking of those at Chelsea and what he can offer.
