Ian Wright and Alan Shearer have explained the Conor Gallagher effect as Marina Granovskaia has a big Chelsea transfer decision to make following the midfielder's latest showing.
Gallagher, 21, has already been labelled as one to watch for the future by current Palace manager Patrick Vieira and he has successfully proven his point once again with his important goal involvements in the Eagles' 2-0victory over Premier League title contenders Man City
"I strongly believe he has what it takes [to reach the top level]," Vieira said about Gallagher at the start of October.
"He still has parts of his game that he needs to improve, but when we're doing feedback on his game, the way he takes in the information and the way he translates it after on the field shows me, he's somebody that wants to improve.
Taking information in with detail allows him to be a more complete player and for that, he has a big chance at getting to the highest level."
Now, the Crystal Palace number 23 didn't just help his parent club by allowing them to extend their lead in the Premier League title race to four points at the expense of Man City, but he also has given Granovskaia and Chelsea a headache to deal with ahead of his loan return in the summer.
