Carabao Cup draw in full as Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal discover opponents

The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw has taken place live on Sky Sports show Soccer AM and Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have discovered their last-eight fixtures.

The draw for the Carabao Cup draw for the quarter-final of the competition has taken place.

And yet again, there are some crackers for fans to feast on.

Earlier this week, 16 teams were whittled down to eight, with Premier League big boys leading the way.

Arsenal's home tie against Leeds United went as smoothly as Mikel Arteta could have wanted with Calum Chambers and Eddie Nketiah providing second-half goals to snatch a 2-0 win.

Rivals Chelsea had a far tougher time in facing Southampton despite Kai Havertz opening the scoring before the break, with striker Che Adams’ goal forcing the match to be decided by a penalty shoot-out.

Misses from Theo Walcott and Will Smallbone were punished by defender Reece James, who scored the deciding penalty, having done the same in the previous round against Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, QPR suffered a defeat on penalties to League One side Sunderland after a goalless draw in normal time.

The following day it was the turn of Liverpool and Tottenham to secure their passage to the next round, beating Preston and Burnley respectively.
