It has been claimed that Chelsea expect to announce the signing of Man City star Raheem Sterling in the coming days
Over the past few months – most of the speculation in the media has been about the possible Stamford Bridge arrival of Raheem Sterling – who is no longer wanted at Man City.
Despite being a big part of the squad over at Man City – Sterling did not produce the goals that Pep Guardiola would have liked last season and the Spaniard was forced to sign Erling Haaland to solve that problem
But the Champions Need to balance the books and sell a few players to deal with the £500,000-a-week wages that Haaland is getting at the club – meaning that Sterling has been free to leave
The Blues are in advanced talks with the Premier League champions about a possible deal for Sterling and reportedly expect the England strikerto join in the coming days in a deal worth around £60m.
According to the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old forward is set to sign a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge after calling time on a glittering seven-year spell at the Etihad.
