Romelu Lukaku will spend the 2022/23 campaign with Inter Milan.

The Belgian rejoins the Italian team where he stayed two years prior and captured the Serie A championship.

Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge last summer, ten years after first signing with the team as a teenager, and began his Premier League career by scoring in a victory at Arsenal. He then scored twice in our 3-0 victory over Aston Villa, his first goals at Stamford Bridge.

He scored against Zenit St. Petersburg once more, but that would be his final goal until the rematch against the same opponents three months later as he battled to recover from an ankle injury sustained in a different European match against Malmo in October that limited his participation in other games.

The striker contributed further goals in the FA Cup before helping us secure a third-place finish in the Premier League in May, with a brace in a 2-2 draw against Wolves and completing the scoring as we beat Leeds 3-0.

Combined with his first spell at Chelsea between 2011 and 2014, Lukaku has made a total of 59 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals.
